Applications are invited form Male/Female Indian citizens for filing up the following temporary posts of Assistant Sub inspector/ Exe in the pay matrix Level-5 in the pay matrix 29,200 to 9,300/- and Head Constable/ GD sportsmen in the pay matrix Level- in the pay matrix 25,500 to 81,00/-plus usual and admissible allowances to the Central Government employees from time to time in the Central Industrial Security Force . Pay Scale

For Assistant Sub Inspector 29,200 to 92,300/-(pre revised band pay 5200-20200+ G.P. 2800/-) f

For Head Constable 25,500 to 81,100/-(pre revised band pay 5200-20200+ G.P. 2400/-)

Age Limit-For ASI   between 20 to 25 years as on 1st August 2017

Relaxable up to 05 years for SC/ST and up to 03 years for OBC candidates

For Head Constable 18 to 23 years as on 1st August 2017

Relaxable up to 05 years for SC/ST and up to 03 years for OBC candidates

Application Fee-Requisite application fees of Rs.100/- in the form of postal order drawn in favour of the officer mentioned in the notification and payable at the post office as mentioned in the notification. SC/ST and Ex- servicemen candidates are exempted from application fee.

How to Apply CISF Sports Quota Recruitment 2018

Application forms printed in the Employment News dated 30.12.2017. Typed/photocopied application forms on A/4 size paper, strictly as per format published in the employment news. Downloadable application forms from Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) website- www.cisfrectt.in. Application on the proforma as per annexure-1 should be sent to the prescribed authorities for particular events in the notification of vacancies along with requisite application fees of Rs.1000- in the form of postal order drawn in favour of the officer mentioned in the notification and payable at the post office as mentioned in the notification. SC/ ST and Ex-servicemen candidates are exempted form application fee.

Applicants should read and understand all the information carefully before applying for the post.

Proficiency in Sports for CISF Sports Quota Recruitment 

For the post of Assistant Sub Inspector, for individual event, candidate should have represented the country as member of Senior/ Junior international tournament. He should also have medal winning performance in Senior/ Junior National Games Championship during the last edition.

For the post of Assistant Sub Inspector, for team event, candidate should have represented Senior/ Junior team in international tournament during the last edition or Member of any medal winning team in Senior National Games/ Championship during the last edition.

For the post of Head constable, for individual event, should have represented a state or equivalent unit National Games/ National Championship in Senior/Junior level during the last edition or Any medal in all India inter university championship during the last edition. At least Gold Medal in National School Games/ Championship during the last edition.

For the post of Head constable, for team event, should have represented State team or equivalent unit in National Games/ Championship in Senior / junior level during the last edition or Member of medal winning team in All India Inter- University Championship during the last edition.Gold medal in national school games/ championship during last edition.

Note: The person should have been the playing member of the team during the last edition

History-Indian /Haryana : History portion can be easily covered from NCERT BOOKS of 10th/12th Standard .Here in Ancient India prepare well for Indus Valley,Vedic age,Mauryas, Guptas (their art architecture is Important) ,Buddhism,Jainism. In Medieval India Sufism is important do it thoroughly. Mughals are always important go through it  as well.Do Bipin Chandra India for Modern India (NCERT WILL DO)

Geography and Science also need equal attention. Do logical reasoning from a separate text book of standard publisher. For geography buy ATLAS and practice daily on Map questions.In geography focus on Indian economic Geography,Industries and Flora and Fauna, National Parks and Sanctuaries all are important and easy to prepare in short duration. 

 GENERAL SCIENCE : NCERT Books from 7th Standard to 10th Standard will Make Complete Revision for General Science portion in State and Central Govt Jobs Exams 2017. Coming to the Science topics: Human Anatomy,blood Groups, Diseases, Photosynthesis, Plant Life, Insects,animal Kingdom all play  important  role in syllabus to be prepared .

Polity and Constitution : Questions from polity are of general Nature and very simple but very few students  can handle them properly ,reason being not proper preparation . Do again NCERT books on Polity/Constitution if the exam /Competition is of Higher level say State Service Exams like PCS, RAS, HAS, HCS, IES, and Officer level Exams of Central Govt. then candidate must refer one or two Text Book/s of Standard Author ( Books Name is out of Scope of this write up -refer Home page-Trending Now)

12th pass with science subject or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board/ University.

Age Limit

Not less than 18 years and not more than 23 years as on the closing date for the receipt of applications from candidates (i.e.11.01.2018). Candidates should not have been born earlier than 12.01.1995 and not later than 11.01.2000

CISF Constable Physical Standards

Job aspirants should meet the following Physical criteria

For all Candidates

Height : 170 cm

Chest: Min 80 cm with Min expansion of 05 cm

For Candidates belonging to hill area do the Garhwal Kumaon, Himachal Pradesh, Gorkhas, Dogras, Marathas, Sikkimies, Kashmir Valley and Leh & Ladakh regions of J&K and North Eastern States subject to production of certificate

Height: 165 cm

Chest: Min 78 cm with Min expansion of 05 cm

For Tribal or Adivasis including Mizos and Nagas subject to production of certificate.

Height: 162.5 cm

Chest: Min 77 cm with Min expansion of 05 cm

Weight: Proportion of height and age as per medical standard. Weight will be recorded at the time of physical measurements.

Application Fee :  The Candidate belonging to General and OBC should pay the fee of Rs. 100/- as examination fee through following mode.
